(North Canton, OH – June 28, 2022) – Prospective students are invited to Stark State College summer open houses from 5-7 p.m. – July 14 on main campus, 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton, or Aug. 10 at Stark State College Akron, 360 Perkins St.

Students and their guests can

• meet professors and admissions reps
• get help with the financial aid process
• tour the campus
• learn about student services and resources
• explore program options.

All 2022 high school graduates and GED completers also can learn about how they can get free fall tuition.

Guests at the SSC Akron event can tour the College’s new Welding and Joining Center, made up of 17 welding booths in 7,500 square feet for technology that’s consistently in high demand with employers. Welding technology is a one-year training program for a well-paying field.
