Walters, Reolfi and Williams reappointed to Stark State College board

(North Canton, OH – July 22, 2022) – Stark State College announces the reappointments of Board of Trustee members Jeffery A. Walters, reappointed by Gov. Mike DeWine; and Elaine Russell Reolfi and Fonda P. Williams II, reappointed by local appointment authorities.

Each of their terms begins Aug. 2 and ends Aug. 1, 2025.

Walters, of Canal Fulton, is a managing director for Northeast Ohio at CBIZ MHHM, LLC, specializing in accounting, tax, finance and business advisory services for business and nonprofit organizations. He previously worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. A CPA, he earned a juris doctorate, a master of taxation degree and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, all from The University of Akron. Along with extensive community involvement, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association and the Institute of Management Accountants.

Reolfi, second vice chair of the Stark State College board, serves as chief executive officer of CommQuest Services, one of the largest nonprofit mental health and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio. She previously was executive vice president for human resources and corporate relations at TimkenSteel Corporation and president of the TimkenSteel Charitable Fund. She also has held national leadership roles, serving as a council chair for the Manufacturers Alliance and a member of the strategic communications council of the American Iron and Steel Institute. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and master’s degree in business administration and also is a graduate of the Executive Development for Global Excellence program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Williams, of Canton, is senior vice president of government affairs and economic development at the Economic Development Institute, Inc., working with small businesses throughout the community and state. He previously served as deputy mayor/director of economic development for the city of Canton. Williams, who earned a bachelor’s degree at Duke University, also served for two terms as a Canton City councilman. He was appointed to the Democratic Party Executive Committee and serves on a number of boards in the area.

Other members of the Stark State board are Karen Lefton, Esq., chair; Harun Rashid, first vice chair; Tracy Carter; Marlé Fernandes; Alice Stephens; and Patricia Wackerly.
