Stark State Collegeโ€™s RN to BSN program is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. As of February 9, 2026, the program has achieved formal candidacy status with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), with a comprehensive site visit anticipated for Spring 2027.

Following the site visit, ACEN will conduct its final review for full accreditation. The site visit for Initial Accreditation of the Baccalaureate nursing program is scheduled for February 16, 2027 through February 18, 2027.
