*Please note: Many Stark State classes have online and in-person options.

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology (EEET) is a discipline that applies engineering principles for the purpose of maintaining, analyzing, designing, building, testing and electrical equipment and electrical controls for manufacturing equipment.ย
  • Stark State offers an Associate degreeย ofย Applied Science (AAS) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology.ย ย ย
  • Along with theย Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology degree, Stark State also offers an Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering withย andย Electrical Engineering focus.ย
  • Stark State also offers Career Enhancement Certificates (CEC) as building blocks toย obtainingย the EEET degree.ย ย These CECs focus on courses in Electrical Troubleshooting, Industrial Electricity andย Electronicsย and Industrial Controls.ย

  • There is an articulation/transfer agreement with the University of Akron.ย Our AAS electrical/electronic engineering technology transfers to aย Bachelor of Scienceย inย engineering technologyย (BSET).
  • There are articulation/transfer agreements withย Universityย of Akron and Mount Union. Our ASย preโ€‘engineeringย degrees at Stark State articulate toย aย Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering (BSEE)ย degrees at UA and Mount Union.ย ย
  • Theย Ohio Transfer 36ย ensures that general education credits (English, Math, Natural Sciences, Humanities etc.) transfer among Ohio public colleges.ย

The Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Electronic(s) Engineering Technologyโ€ฏis accredited by theโ€ฏEngineering Technologyโ€ฏAccreditation Commission ofโ€ฏABET, under the commissionโ€™sย General Criteria and Program Criteriaโ€ฏfor Electrical/Electronic(s) Engineering Technology and similarly named programs.ย
