Stark State College open houses scheduled Nov. 5 and 12

NORTH CANTON, Ohio, October 22, 2026 – Stark State College invites students, parents and adults looking for a new career to attend its upcoming fall open houses. The events take place from 5-7 p.m. on Nov. 5 at its main campus in North Canton at 6200 Frank Ave. NW, or Nov. 12 at the College’s Akron location, 360 Perkins St.

Guests will talk with faculty and staff about Stark State’s 200-plus associate degree, bachelor’s degree, certificate and credential programs. They will also have the chance to tour campus, learn about student services and resources, and more. Staff will be available to help students and parents look at financial aid options and discuss scholarship opportunities. Those who need help completing and submitting their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are invited to come early at 4 p.m. for a FAFSA open lab.
