Stark State College to host The Eyes of Freedom traveling military memorial

NORTH CANTON, Ohio, May 11, 2026 – The Eyes of Freedom, a traveling memorial dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of America’s servicemembers, will be on display at Stark State College May 19-22.

Visitors can view the display 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. May 19 to 21, then 8:30 a.m.-noon on May 22 in room M100 of the College’s Business and Entrepreneurial Center, 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton. An opening ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on May 19. Stark State will also host a veteran’s resource fair Thursday, May 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the same location.

Both events are free and open to the public. The Eyes of Freedom memorial is sponsored by Rolling Thunder Ohio Chapter 2 and American Legion Post 221.
