Getting involved on campus is one of the quickest ways to become part of the Stark State College community and create your own experience. Join fellow students to pursue an interest or talent through one of our many engagement opportunities – or just have fun. You can also find help with services like supplemental advising, mentoring and academic support referrals.

Student organizations
Choose from more than 50 student organizations where you can network with others who share your interests – from academic to social. They provide a great opportunity to network and meet new friends while developing important leadership skills preparing you for a career.

Student Leadership Academy
Develop useful skills valued by future employers while building your resume and network. No previous leadership experience is necessary.
Student Government Association (SGA)
Join SGA to represent the interests and opinions of the student body and help students understand their responsibilities, rights and privileges. SGA also coordinates campus club activities and initiates student involvement in community projects.
Campus events
Participate in campus-wide events including Welcome Week, Student Involvement Fair, Spartan Spirit Week, Spring Fling and more.

Student recreation
Stop by the Game Room on main campus for a friendly, relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind and socialize with friends and others. You can hang out, watch movies or play air hockey, ping pong, billiards, video games or foosball.
