Welcome to Air Force GEM at Stark State College

General Education Mobile (GEM)In an effort to better serve active duty service members, Stark State College is proud to partner with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to offer accredited, general education coursework in an online format.  The following courses have been approved and meet the CCAF guidelines for the associate of science degree.

Admissions process

You’re a transient student because you’re currently attending another college/university and want to enroll at Stark State College and then return to your institution. You won’t however, be eligible to use financial aid at Stark State, so contact your home college/university financial aid office to discuss your financial aid options.

Complete the ‘Guest-transient student’ application online.

To register for courses, you’ll need to provide a letter from your home college/university stating that you are in good standing along with the name of the approved courses to be taken at Stark State College. The transferability of course(s) taken at Stark State is the prerogative of the accepting institution. Contact your home college/university academic advisor or registrar to get your letter and send to:
