Greg Freeman Memorial Scholarship

Gregory Freeman will be remembered fondly by the Stark State community. We continue to be grateful for his work as the director of Upward Bound Math-Science Academy and Focus on African American Males in Education (F.A.M.E.) programs at SSC. His dedication to preparing students for success has impacted many lives and will be remembered for years to come.

Thanks to the efforts of the Leadership Akron Signature Class 39, the Greg Freeman Memorial Scholarship fund has been established to provide funding for Summit County students who participated in Upward Bound.
