Apply to Stark State – and you’re automatically considered for select scholarships. If you meet the criteria, you’re automatically awarded the scholarship(s) listed in the following chart. It’s that simple.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WHO’S ELIGIBLE
President’s Scholar Award $1,000 per term up to $5,000 • meets two out of three:
>college-ready test scores
>high school GPA 3.0+
>top 25% of high school class
• requires continuous full-time status (12+ credits each fall/spring) and a Stark State GPA of 3.0+ for renewal
College Credit Plus (CCP), Career and Technical Education (CTE), and Early College High School Scholarship (ECHS) $500 per term up to $2,000 • must have passed at least one CCP/CTE/ECHS course and have a 2.5+ high school GPA
• requires continuous full-time status (12+ credits each fall/spring) and a Stark State GPA of 2.5+ for renewal
Adult 25+ Scholarship $500 per term full time up to $2,000

$250 per term part time up to $1,000

• must be a new, first-time college student
• requires continuous fall/spring enrollment for renewal
• requires 12+ credits for full-time amount, or 6+ credits for part-time amount
Grad 22+ Program Scholarship $500 per term up to $1,000 • must be a graduate of the Grad 22+ program
• maintain continuous fall/spring enrollment of at least six credits and a Stark State GPA of 2.5+ for renewal
Choose Ohio First Scholarship full cost of tuition and books be enrolled in a qualifying STEMM major
• college-ready test scores
• be an Ohio resident
• be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• have a high school and/or college GPA of 3.0+
• complete a work-based learning experience
