Students majoring in web design and development learn to develop interactive database-driven websites using ASP.net, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, MySQL and Java. While everyone else is trying to figure out the new information technology buzzwords, Stark Stateโ€™s web design and development students will be applying them in the classroom to real-life situations.

This rewarding degree covers a wide variety of materials during the program. Students graduating with this degree will use the knowledge and skill gained in the program to:

  • Design and develop web-based applications
  • Develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications
  • Design and develop databases
  • Create multimedia applications
