If a student claims to have submitted an assignment but you do not have a record of it, there are reports you can run to verify they have or have not submitted it.
If you validate they have not submitted the assignment – we would suggest informing the student that they did not upload it successfully to Blackboard and encouraging them to review this tutorial: https://www.starkstate.edu/eStudent/tutorials/assignmentsdiscussions/submit-assignment/
