NORTH CANTON, Ohio, Oct. 23, 2025 – Lindsey Loftus has been named the new vice president of advancement at Stark State College and executive director of the Stark State College Foundation, effective Nov. 3.
Loftus brings a wealth of experience in principal gifts, major and planned giving, along with a strong background in alumni relations. Over the course of his career, he has raised more than $25 million while serving in key fundraising roles at institutions across the country, including Kent State University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Lander University in South Carolina. Most recently, he served as senior director of principal gifts at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), where he focused on cultivating relationships with individual philanthropists to support the university’s mission and strategic goals.
Loftus holds a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications from Kent State, a Master of Education in higher education administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Arts in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota. An avid distance runner, he’s a board member of the Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation.
