Associate of Science (AS) Degree

The associate of science degree provides a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences, and leads to career paths in those fields, as well as transfer options to bachelor of science programs at four-year institutions.

A minimum of 60 credits are required for the associate of science degree.  All students must earn the minimum credit subtotal in English composition, social and behavioral sciences, arts and humanities, and sciences and mathematics.

In addition, the associate of science general degree can be earned completely online. With online classes and flexible scheduling including day, and/or evening classes, students can complete an associate of science general degree in as little as two years.
