Actuarial math professions utilize mathematical and statistical methods to assess and manage financial risk for insurance companies and financial institutions. Stark State College’s associate of science in pre-acturial mathematics is a two-year degree designed for students interested in pursuing advanced degrees in mathematical or quantitative finance. Stark State's program builds strong problem solving and analytical skills, business knowledge, and a basic understanding of human behavior.
