What happens if I am placed on the waitlist?
You will be notified of your waitlist status and encouraged to complete additional general education courses to strengthen your application for the next cycle.
Can I continue coursework while on the waitlist?
Yes. Completing courses such as NTR121, PHL122, PSY220, ENG231, and SOC225 will improve your Selective Admission Score.
How will I know if I am accepted?
Applicants will be notified after the application review process is complete following the July 31st deadline.
Are all RN-BSN courses online?
Yes, all courses are online except for practicum experiences, which are arranged with SSC-affiliated healthcare facilities.
Is there a Spring start option?
No, admission is offered only for the Fall semester each year.
Do I need your RN license to enroll in this program?
Yes, you must have an active, unencumbered Ohio or Compact Multi-state RN license.
Are there state residency requirements?
Yes, you must be a permanent resident of Ohio. Practicum experiences will occur at SSC-affiliated healthcare facilities.
Can I complete the degree at my own pace?
No. Students will enroll in specific online classes each semester. Classes are offered asynchronous (no required meeting time) to fit your schedule, with assignments and coursework due on a regular basis.
