Learn about persons who are deaf and their unique culture and community. The program provides an overview of the deaf community and three levels of American Sign Language instruction. You’ll also gain community learning experiences.
The one-year certificate requires observation hours in the community.
In addition, both the one-year and short-term certificates stack toward an associate degree in education.
