April 23 deadline to apply for next police training academy class at Stark State College

(North Canton, OH – April 12, 2021) – April 23 is the deadline to apply for Stark State College’s next peace officer basic training academy.

Academy classes begin June 7 and run 8:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, along with Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 5 pm through Dec. 19. The schedule is subject to change.

The academy meets all requirements of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and qualifies successful graduates to take the peace officer state certification test.
