Stark State College names top faculty, staff
(North Canton, OH – May 14, 2019) – Stark State College has named its top faculty and staff members for 2018-2019. Angela Smith Alder, associate professor and coordinator of justice studies, received the Distinguished Teaching Award; Kip Gardner, adjunct instructor in biology, earned the Adjunct Excellence in Teaching Award; and Scott Lehman, assistant director of financial aid, was chosen for the Distinguished Staff Award.

Stark State College’s new surgical assisting technology program receives initial accreditation
(North Canton, OH – Nov. 29, 2018) – Stark State College’s new surgical assisting technology program recently received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (caahep.org) on the recommendation of the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
